Appling County Elementary School’s STEAM Explorers Club participated in the Eco Earth Water Challenge. Students collected water samples from Lake Mayers, the Altamaha River, and campus wetlands and tested for temperature, dissolved oxygen levels, turbidity, percent of oxygen saturation, and pH levels. This information is being used to determine the overall health of water in our community.
