A very close family: Mother Debbie Reynolds and her two children, Carrie and Todd Fisher.
Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher: Their funerals; the HBO documentary that had already been filmed about their lives; and Todd Fisher – Debbie’s son and Carrie’s brother – is paying tribute to them on Twitter.
After dying one day apart from each other (December 27th, 2016 and December 28th, 2016 – respectively), Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds have left behind a very close family member – their brother and son Todd Fisher. He is now tasked with deciding if he should plan a joint funeral for his sister Carrie Fisher and mother Debbie Reynolds.
“That is my preference,” he shared with E! News. “Obviously it’s not finalized, but I think that sounds like a grand idea given the beautiful story between them.”
Oddly enough, both Reynolds and Fisher were set to star in the HBO documentary, Bright Lights: Starring Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher. HBO has yet to announce an air date for the documentary, but Todd Fisher thinks it’ll be a great way memorialize his mom and sister, “Remarkably enough, the [Bright Lights] documentary is the greatest tribute you can imagine to both of them.”
Todd has shared some beautiful tributes to both his mom and sister on Twitter…

Grauman’s Theater went dark for a few moments tonight to honor my Mother. We notice the acts of love everywhere #debbiereynolds pic.twitter.com/PfdUcXEGb0

We have always been close, thats why my mother had me, so Carrie would have someone to look after her. https://t.co/rgykz3yeR0
