On September 3, SCMPD officers investigated a shots fired report on 1200 block of East Bolton Street. A man was found dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified.
Also on September 3, a separate shooting on East Bolton Street occurred in which 35-year-old Antonio Jackson was wounded. Jackson’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
According to the SCMPD, neither shooting appears to have been random.
