Members of the Appling County Middle School chapter of the Technology Student Association (TSA) traveled to the Georgia National Fair on October 10th to compete in various state level TSA competitions. At the competition, the following students, pictured left to right, were recognized for their achievements:

• Mary Evelyn Deal, an eighth grade student, placed 5th in the top 10 in the state in the Membership Tri-board Design competition.  Mary Evelyn improved her performance from a 10th place finish last year.
• Maddie Price, a sixth grade student, placed 2nd in the top 10 in the State Level Middle School Lapel Pin Challenge.  This competition includes both middle and high school competitors. Maddie was the highest placed middle school student in the challenge.
• Hannah Cortes, a sixth grade student, placed 10th in the top 10 in the State Level Middle School Lapel Pin Challenge.
