Due to severe weather associated with Tropical Storm Hermine, Armstrong State University’s main campus in Savannah and Liberty Center in Hinesville will be closed as of 5 p.m. today and will remain closed on Friday, September 2.

Armstrong’s White Coat Nursing Reception and Phi Eta Sigma Induction Ceremony, originally planned for this evening, will be canceled. Classes and normal business operations will resume on Tuesday, September 6.

The safety of students, faculty and staff is our top priority at Armstrong. We will continue to monitor developments with Tropical Storm Hermine closely and will issue further updates as needed.
