Williams Convicted of Arson for Burning Swainsboro Church

Anthony Williams has been convicted of setting that fire that devastated the Calvary Methodist Church on September 29, 2011. For attempting to destroy the Swainsboro church, he has been sentenced to forty years in prison.

The Calvary Methodist Church, which was beloved by many in the community, had its interior almost completely destroyed in the blaze, but it has since been fully restored.
