According to a recent press release, officers with the Alma Police Department responded to a 911 call at 7:44 PM on July 14. They arrived at an East Superior Street address and found a man covered in blood. The man was taken to the Mid-Michigan Medical Center Gratiot and later pronounced deceased.

Two of the man’s family members gave information to police that led to the arrest of a 21-year-old female who lived with the victim at the time of his death.

UPDATE: 21-year-old Sarah Mora is now facing a charge of First Degree Murder for the stabbing of 27-year-old Thomas Mendoza.
