Quantrell Jones, having been convicted of aggravated assault by a Ware County jury, received a 20 year prison sentence.

He received the sentence for a drive-by shooting which occurred on July 29, 2015. One victim, Randionntre Bolds, was hit by several bullets fired from a moving vehicle. He survived the attack.

Jones, having been identified from surveillance footage and eye-witness testimony, was arrested by police after fleeing to New York.

He was transported back to Waycross, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge against him. He was tried and convicted in June.
