On Tuesday, June 2nd, Bacon County authorities were called in on a possible kidnapping and vehicle theft situation.
At the scene, they were informed by the victim that her ex-boyfriend, Marcus Beasley of Baxley, had taken their child in her vehicle. Beasley did not have custody of the child.
Following a lead, officers found Beasley on Pinyon Trail. He was arrested and the child and vehicle were returned.
He faces charges of Kidnapping and Vehicle Theft.
