The ACES STEAM Explorers Club hosted the 3rd Annual STEM Showcase on March 28th. Students taught visitors how to code drones, make videos using green screen technology, how to use augmented and virtual reality, how to create hydraulic and renewable energy systems with Legos, and ways to design with KEVA building blocks. Mrs. Kelsey Marchant provided information about the Ag Education program that the school will be piloting next year. Jack Rountree, an ACES 3rd grader, presented information on ACES’s participation in the Earth Eco Water Challenge. This water research project tests local water sources for temperature, turbidity, PH, and oxygen levels. This is an annual project for ACES. Members from the Board of Education, Sheriff’s Department, and local businesses attended.
