The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 3 AM to 9 AM EST Saturday. The Freeze Watch is no longer in effect.

* TIMING…3 to 5 hours of subfreezing temperatures around
sunrise Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS…Freezing temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or expected for at least 2 hours. Appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold temperatures. Young children, the elderly and the homeless are especially vulnerable to the cold. Take measures to protect them.
