Appling County Sheriff's Office Seeks Escaped Inmate

News Release
According to Appling County Sheriff Mark Melton, at approximately 6:00 am April 2, 2018, Dillon Ray Miller, white/male age 24, of Hazlehurst, Ga. escaped from the Appling County Detention Center. Miller is 5’7” and weights 130 lbs. and wearing a black and white striped inmate suit. His current charges are Burglary, Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, Suspended License and other traffic offenses. The Appling County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the Georgia State Patrol and the Georgia Department of Corrections are currently searching for Miller.
