Friday afternoon Appling County Rescue and EMS responded quickly to an industrial accident at Middle Ga Mulch.  Apparently a 36 year old Hispanic man was injured at work when he somehow got caught up in a conveyor.  Due to a language barrier it was confusing for the rescue personnel to communicate with him but they did the best they could. He was taken to the hospital and was then flown to the trauma unit in Savannah via helicopter. No word on his conditions, or even how the accident occurred.
