The SCMPD is investigating the August 20 shooting that killed Stephanie Smith and wounded Rasheedah Bostick.

The shooting happened at the intersection of Barnard Street and Victory drive. Smith and Bostick were found wounded inside a vehicle. They were transferred to Memorial University Medical Center where Smith was later pronounced dead.
