On Wednesday, June 22, seven bullets from three guns tore through what had been a peaceful night at Windover Manor, an apartment complex in Blackshear.

The three shooters apparently had the same target in mind: Davante LeJune. LeJune informed the police that he didn’t know who his would-be killers were or why they opened fire on his apartment.

Luckily, no one was harmed in the shooting.

Windover Manor is a facility for people with disabilities. Most of the residents are elderly. LeJune, however, is in his early 20’s. His neighbors regard him as quiet and polite and don’t understand why someone would wish him harm.
