Kobe Bryant has reportedly died in a helicopter crash.

 Update: Kobe’s daughter Gianna,13, was also aboard the flight and also died.

 

TMZ reports that he and four others perished when his private chopper went down in Calabasas, California this morning (Sunday). There’s no word on a cause.

Kobe is survived by his wife Vanessa and three daughters. He was 41.

LeBron James had just passed Kobe for third on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
