The House voted Wednesday afternoon to formally send the impeachment charges against President Donald Trump to the Senate later in the day, signaling the third presidential impeachment trial in American history.
The House resolution officially appoints the seven managers, named by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Wednesday morning, who will act as prosecutors presenting the Democrats’ case.
