Sheriff Melton is pleased to announce the Appling County Sheriff’s Office is forming a Law Enforcement Exploring Program for youth ages 14 through 18. The program is designed for youth to learn more about law enforcement careers by working with a local law enforcement agency, and the role of law enforcement in and for the community. This is an excellent character development opportunity which includes community involvement for our future leaders. Area churches and schools are encouraged to promote this program with their youth. If you know of anyone interested in the Law Enforcement Post Program, please contact the ACSO at 912-367-8120.
