A two-vehicle crash happened Tuesday, May 30th at approximately 12:30 pm at the intersection of Highway One and Cauley Road in Appling County.

Involved was a Ford Explorer driven by Christy Love Brown and a Jeep Wrangler driven by Britt Carter. Mrs. Brown’s two children, ages 5 and 8, were passengers in the Explorer. Both children were Lifestarred from the scene to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

Mr. Carter’s wife, Lara Carter, was a passenger in the jeep and was also injured.

The accident was investigated by the Georgia State Patrol.
