Complainant stated person(s) unknown entered her unlocked vehicle and stole the following items: Michael Kors Pocketbook, Coach Wallet, Kate Spade Wallet, Galaxy S-5, Bottle of Channel Perfume and various credit cards.
03-04-2017—-Answered a call to Kennedy Road in reference to a domestic dispute. Complainant stated she went to get her items from the residence and she and the subject began to argue. Complainant stated subject pushed her out the door and would not let her back in. No marks were visible.
03-05/2017—-Answered a call to two vehicles parked at the Recreation Ball Field. Deputies arrived and two males were sitting in the vehicles in the parking lot. Officers could smell the odor of marijuana. Further investigation led to the arrest of Tristan Lewis Carter age 21 of Baxley. Carter was charged with Possession of Marijuana.
03/05/2017—-Answered a call to US #1 south in reference to a one-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
03/06/2017—-Answered a call to Spring Branch Church Road. Complainant advised she went to bed and forgot to turn off the stove. A fire started and burned the wall, wiring and celling of the house.
03/06/2017—-Answered a call to George Craven Road in reference to Entering Auto/Theft. Complainant stated person(s) unknown entered her vehicle and stole her black leather purse with a long shoulder strap. The purse contained $7.50 US currency, driver’s license and miscellaneous business cards.
03/06/2017—-Answered a call to Zoar Road in reference to a one vehicle accident. Complainant struck an object in the roadway. No injuries were reported.
03/06/2017—-Answered a call to Midway Church Road in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated she had a verbal argument with her son. Complainant stated her son had been displaying irrational behavior and abusing drugs.
03/06/2017—-Deputies responded to VP Lynch Road on a Fugitive from Justice Warrant. Barbara Ann Arnette was picked up for Duval County Florida.
03/06/2017—-Answered a call to County Farm Road in reference to a Theft. Complainant stated she left her two pit bull puppies in the yard and when she returned home they were gone. One puppy is brown and white in color and the other one is blue and white both valued at $250.00 each.
03/06/2017—-Answered a call to Mae Lane in reference to Damage to Property. Complainant advised that his neighbor’s dog got into his chicken pin and killed 24 chickens injured 5 others and killed a goose. The neighbor was advised to keep his dog on his property.
03/07/2017—-Answered a call to John Lewis Lane in reference to Damage to Property. Complainant stated a nearby neighbor’s dog; white and brown bulldog killed their rabbits.
03/07/2017—-Answered a call to Fire Tower Road in reference to a Burglary. Complainant stated person(s) entered his residence and stole a Glock Model 19 Handgun, a Hungarian AK-47 with a black synthetic stock and a Mossberg Pistol grip 20 gauge Shotgun.
03/08/2017—-Answered a call to Holt Rentz Road in reference to a Burglary. Complainant stated someone broke into his camper trailer and stole several items. A 32 inch flat screen TV valued at $250.00, an electric chainsaw $75.00, one roll of 12-2 electric wire $125.00, a skill saw $75.00, a 18 volt Dewalt Battery Drill with two batteries and case $278.00, one heavy duty saw all $200.00, Acer Laptop Computer $552.00, one Polaroid 10 inch Tablet $175.00, air compressor without a tank $40.00, a small plug air compressor $19.00 and 150 amp battery charger on wheels $125.00. Several medications were taken also.
03/10/2017—-Answered a call to Russell Road in reference to a stolen vehicle. Complainant stated a female had taken his Silver and Blue 1987 Dodge Ram Pickup Truck without his permission. Investigators made contact with the female subject. The truck was returned and complainant did not want to press charges.
