Due to the cancellation of services during the severe weather experienced in our area on Sunday, January 22, the St. James African Methodist Espiscopal Church located on Comas Street in Baxley will observe Family and Friends Day on Sunday, January 29 at 11:00 am.
The Rev. Gerald Copeland, pastor of the Greater St. James A.M.E. Church in Blackshear will deliver the message and his members will be in charge of the service. Dinner will be served in the church Fellowship Hall following the service. St. James extends a special invitation to everyone to worship with them on this occasion. The Rev. Douglas B. Stinson is the pastor and the Rev. Lucretia J. Stinson is the co-pastor.
