The following is a statement from Appling County’s Interim Probate Judge Gretchen Bailey:

My name is Gretchen Johnson Bailey and I have been working with the Probate Court for over 15 years. I worked with Probate Judge Diane Hallman and, at her resignation, I was appointed Interim Probate Judge to fill the position until the November 8, 2022 Special Non-Partisan Election.

I am working daily to maintain the integrity and standards that we have in our court system. Ms. Diane Hallman was the Appling County Probate Judge for 45 and a half years and it was a pleasure working under her and learning through her compassion and generosity.
