Southeast Georgia Regional Development Authority Called Meeting Minutes

The Southeast Georgia Regional Development Authority had a called meeting on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 2 PM in the Chamber Development Authority conference room.
The following board members were present: Kevin Ellis, Andrea Taylor, Keri Orvin, Ricky Ursrey, Lewis Parker and Van Wooten. Laura Crozier was also present.
Call to Order: Chairman Kevin Ellis called the meeting to order.
Invocation: The invocation was given by Lewis Parker.
Chairman Kevin Ellis asked the board to review the minutes from the meeting held March 21, 2019. Andrea Taylor made a motion to accept the minutes as presented. Ricky Ursrey seconded. The motion and it passed unanimously.
Kevin updated the board that the early exit agreement with Modspace had been executed at the agreed-upon $500,000 price. Kevin updated the board on the status of the Appling County Pellets property and presented a letter from Appling County Pellets notifying the authority that they would like to exercise the option to purchase as presented in their original lease agreement. There was some discussion about their operation. Keri Orvin made a motion to accept their option to purchase. Ricky Ursrey seconded. The motion and it passed unanimously.
Kevin informed the board that the election of a Vice Chairman needs to take place. Andrea Taylor nominated Keri Orvin as Vice Chairman. Ricky Ursrey seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Adjourn: There being no further business Ricky Ursrey made a motion to adjourn. Van Wooten seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
