Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the memorial service of Alice Carolyn Coleman Oliver, age 91, who passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018, at The Pavilion under the care of Comfort Care Hospice.  She was a native of Copenhagen, Denmark living in Appling County for the past 60 years.  Mrs. Oliver retired as the Librarian for the Appling County Library after 37 years of service and was a member of Baxley Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lee Coleman, and daughter, Carol Morris.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Oliver of Baxley; three grandchildren, Jennifer Morris of Glenwood, Michael Morris of Blackshear and Jerry Lee Gibson of Baxley and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the Baxley Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverends Caleb Folsom and Virgil Carter officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall.
