The Baxley Police Department has reported an ongoing scam. Some folks are receiving calls from people who say they are with Georgia Power and their power is going to be cut off if they do not pay their bill through them. This is a scam. Georgia Power does not have anyone calling about your power bill. All citizens are asked to be aware of these scams and report them.
