Farmers and gardeners in and around Jeff Davis County are celebrating!
The USDA has approved a request by the Jeff Davis County Commission for funding to build a new farmers market. The amount approved was $99,730.
Work on the project is expected to commence within weeks. Sadly, the market is not expected to open in time for this year’s harvests.
