ATLANTA—Georgia Department of Transportation’s Office of Transportation Data (OTD) provides traffic data, products and services that help local governments and the public make data-driven transportation decisions concerning traffic patterns and flow, design of new roads, traffic signage or signalization needs and a number of other determinations.
Today, OTD launched a new traffic data application that seamlessly combines traffic data collection, analysis and presentation services into a single application.
The Traffic Analysis and Data Application (TADA) is a result of a partnership between traffic engineering and transportation planning firm Southern Traffic Services, Inc. and traffic data analysis software provider Drakewell, Inc.
“The future of traffic data collection, analysis and reporting has arrived,” said Georgia DOT State Transportation Data Administrator Paul Tanner. “TADA provides advanced features and improved product support for less cost to meet today’s dynamic traffic data requirements.”
TADA is the latest effort in OTD’s continuing commitment to provide the right data, at the right time, and with the right quality to our customers. The TADA application, which replaces the GeoCounts traffic data solution, offers a new, easy to understand interface with advanced features including detailed searches, selection of multiple sites, and multiple export options.
Features of TADA:

•    Traffic count collection stations: continuous count/permanent (24/7/365), weigh-in-motion, and short term counts/portable (48 hours)
•    Interactive map interface
•    Graphs, charts, and tabular visualizations
•    Summary data reports
•    Standard time interval selections
