Bond Hearing Held for Qwik Chik Assault Suspects

Nathaniel Smith and Latasha Smith, the couple caught on video committing aggravated assault and cruelty to children at Qwik Chik, were brought before the Appling County Superior Court on Tuesday, August 8th for a bond hearing. Nathaniel Smith was denied bond due to the fact that he struck a child, and due to his prior criminal record which includes convictions for sale and distribution of marijuana and cocaine. Latasha Smith’s bond was set at $25,000. Judge Harrison is presiding over the case.
