According to Vidalia law enforcement, there has been a recent spree of criminals entering unlocked cars and stealing items. It happens at all hours, so please lock the doors to your vehicle if you’re going to be away from it for any length of time.
The crime spree started approximately one month ago. Since then, there have been at least 17 break-ins, all on vehicles that were unlocked.
If you have any information that could lead to the arrest of the persons responsible, please call CrimeStoppers at (912) 386-4480.
