Qwik Chik Assault Suspects Denied Bond

Nathaniel Eric Smith and Latasha M. Smith, the husband and wife arrested for the June 22nd assault against two women at Qwik Chik in Baxley, were recently denied bond, as Appling County Chief Magistrate Ronnie Lewis deemed them a flight risk.

The pair were taken into custody on Wednesday, July 5th in Bryan County, Georgia.

Nathaniel Eric Smith has a criminal record that includes prison time for possession of illegal substances with intent to distribute. He and his wife face charges of assault and cruelty to children.
