JESUP – State Route (SR) 32 at the Pierce/Brantley county line is scheduled to be open to traffic next Thursday, March 30. The Industrial Company (TIC) is working to finalize the bridge replacement project over the Little Satilla River Overflow.

Once the bridge is open to traffic, crews will remove detour signage.

This $2 million contract work on this bridge construction project required a detour placed in mid-November 2016 to ensure the traveling public’s safety, decrease project cost and mitigate wetland impact.

You can be the first to know when the bridge is open by following us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/GDOTSouthEast) and Twitter (@Georgia DOT-Southeast).
