03-11-2017—-A routine traffic stop on Blackshear Hwy led to the arrest of Dylan Elisha Christopher age 18 of Baxley. Christopher was charged with Furnishing, Purchasing, and Possession of Alcoholic Beverages by Person below Legal Age.
03-11-2017—- Answered a call to Crosby Chapel Church Road in reference to a Burglary which already occurred. Complainant stated person(s) unknown pried open his back door and entered his residence. Missing from the residence was three watches, matching gold rope necklace and bracelet, an Acer tablet, $2800.00 cash and some medication.
03-12-2017—- Answered a call to Parkers Convenience Store in reference to a confused person. Appling EMS was called and subject was transported to Appling Health Care System.
03-12-2017—- Answered a call to Deens Landing Road in reference to a Burglary. Complainant stated several items were missing. Taken was an Insigna TV, Dell Desk Top Computer, six wall mirrors, seven lamps, some clothes, freezer, couch, box type shop fan, one wooden bench, dresser and a tool box with miscellaneous tools.
03-12-2017—- Answered a call to River Loop Road in reference to a Burglary. Complainant stated her antique pie safe was stolen. Pie safe is valued at $1000.00.
03-12-2017—- Answered a call to Highway 341 in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
03-13-2017—- While on patrol deputy observed a Gold Mazda car parked in the roadway on Oak Ridge Road. The vehicle was unoccupied and left unattended. The vehicle was towed due to it being a road hazard.
03-13-2017—- Answered a call to Oak Ridge Road in reference to a one-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.
03-13-2017—- Answered a call to Quail Hollow Road in reference to a Burglary. Complainant stated person(s) unknown broke the dead bolt lock and entered her residence. Missing was a pickle jar containing approximately $200.00 worth of change, a gold and diamond ring, a red heart ring, a blue and diamond heart ring and a middle school class ring.
03-13-2017—- Answered a call to US #1 North in reference to a vehicle fire. Upon deputies arrival members of the Altamaha Fire Department was containing the fire. Complainant stated he noticed the truck smoking and flames coming from the truck. The vehicle was left well off the roadway and complainant was advised to get the vehicle the next morning.
03-13-2017—- Answered a call to Omega Cemetery Road in reference to a Burglary. Upon deputies arrival they noticed a large door in the rear of the shop was slightly open. After a complete check no one was located inside and the shop was secured.
03-15-2017—- Answered a call to Terrance Lane in reference to a found firearm. Georgia Department of Corrections work detail found a Rossi pump-action 22 long rifle in the ditch. The firearm was taken into evidence at Appling County Sheriff’s Office.
03-15-2017—-Answered a call to Cameron Road in reference to Identity Fraud. Complainant stated she received her World Master Card Statement and noticed $6,500.00 had been charged at Floor and Décor. Complainant stated she did not make the charges and credit card was cancelled.
03-17-2017—- Answered a call to Holt Rentz Road in reference to a theft. Complainant stated two 55 gallon metal drums were missing from his yard.
