Atkinson County Probate Court Judge, Marjorie Lee O’Brien was booked into the Atkinson County Jail and charged with one count of theft by taking, and one count of violation of oath of office.
According to WALB News, Atkinson County Sheriff David Moore reported that the amount of money said to be involved in the theft by taking charge is between $12,000 and $13,000. Marjorie Lee O’Brien posted bond and is free at this time.
