Jennifer Aniston has been talking about coming back to TV. And while she doesn’t plan on reprising her role as Rachel Green on Friends, she says she feel comfortable and at home on the small screen.
In a recent interview she told Variety:
“I’ve thought about it a lot. That’s where the work is. That’s where the quality is. At this point in my career, I want to be part of wonderful stories, exciting characters, and also just having a good time.”
At this point in her career she doesn’t want to travel and do films. The idea of a stable show that allows her to stay in one place is very appealing. She just doesn’t want it (the TV show) to be a hassle either. She wants it to be a good experience. Whether is was Netflix, Amazon, etc.
“When you’re in your 20s, going away from home was an adventure. Meeting new people—seeing other parts of the country or world—was so exciting. Now it’s really about wanting to stay closer to home and just enjoying your time. It goes really fast. The experience needs to be a good experience. I have no time for the yelling, angry directors or bad behavior anymore.”
