The Appling County BOE met on January 13th. During the meeting, a motion was made and passed to hire Jon Lindsey as head football coach and athletic director. He was recommended for the position by Superintendent Scarlett M. Copeland. The motion to hire him was made by Justin Orvin and seconded by Armon Griffis. Reid Lovett, Stewart Reeves, and Areatha Virgil also voted in favor of the motion.
