Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department’s Violent Crimes investigators seek information on a shooting near Richards Street and West Street that injured Traymon Kimble, 17, on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Just after 11 p.m. Metro officers responded to the scene, locating Kimble with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Memorial University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Kimble was reportedly walking on West Street, when unknown occupants of a passing vehicle opened fire, striking him.

Circumstances surrounding this shooting remain under investigation.
