The Rabbit Who Wants to Fall Asleep, written by Swedish author Carl-Johan Forssen Ehrlin, has had great success when it comes to helping children fall asleep. And due to the success of the “hypnotic” book, he has now written a sequel called The Little Elephant Who Wants to Fall Asleep, which follows an Elephant named Ellen on her journey to sleep.
“I help the child focus on relaxation and going to sleep by using words that are related to going to sleep and techniques that helps the child to have a good night’s sleep. I also suggest a goal for them, which is falling asleep and then do my best to help the child achieve that,” says Ehrlin.
“I have received letters from parents saying it used to take several hours to get their children to go to sleep every evening; then they tried some of my bedtime stories and the child learned how to relax and fell asleep in a few minutes instead, amazing,” he says.
“As a father I know how frustrating it can be when it for some reason is hard for the child to relax and fall asleep. I hope I can help the parents and children with a tool to be able to relax, fall asleep and have sweet dreams.”
