10-27-16—Answered a call to Pickett Road in reference to Damage to Property. Complainant stated unknown subject shot the windshield of his truck three times, and also shot the window to his mobile home.
10-28-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report Identity Theft. Complainant stated he was notified someone had opened five credit card accounts in his name. Complainant notified all companies he had not authorized anyone to open accounts in his name. Someone has gained all of complaint’s personal information. Investigation continues.
10-28-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a Stolen Vehicle. Complainant stated he had authorized a friend to fix the starter on his vehicle and also to sell the tires on the vehicle. Complainant went to check on the vehicle and it was gone. Vehicle was entered into GCIC. Investigation continues.
10-28-16—Answered a call to Moody Altman Road in reference to Harassment. Complainant stated her ex-husband continues to harass her and make threats towards her.
10-28-16—Answered a call to Hwy. 121 North in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-28-16—Answered a call to Barfield Street in reference to Medical Agency Assist. Deputy assisted Appling EMS in transporting and elder female that had fallen in her residence with a possible injured hip. Victim was transported to Memorial Hospital in Savannah. A report will be sent to Division of Aging to follow up on victim.

10-28-16—Answered a call to Quail Hollow Road in reference to Entering /Auto Theft. Complainant stated someone entered his unlocked vehicle and took his HOWA rifle. Rifle with scope was valued at $700.00. Investigation continues.
10-29-16—Answered a call to Crosby Chapel Road in reference to Entering/Auto Theft. Complainant stated someone entered his vehicle and took his deer rifle and a pistol. Also went in his wife’s vehicle stole her pocketbook containing credit cards, and driver’s license. Neither vehicle was locked at the time of the thefts. Investigation continues.

10-29-16—Answered a call to Patterson Road in reference to a Subject with a Firearm. Investigation led to the arrest of Noel Encinia age 17 of Baxley, Cristobal Encinia Jr. age 18 of Baxley, Nathan Jade Maldonado age 17 of Baxley, Jose Daniel Serrano age 17 of Baxley, Cristian Garcia age 18 of Baxley, Adrian Reyes, Jr. age 19 of Baxley, Omar Leon age 19 of Baxley. All were charged with Disorderly Conduct.
10-30-16—Answered a call to US#1 South in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-30-16—Answered a call to Forrest Drive in reference to a Theft. Complainant stated a family member had taken her bank debit card. Warrants were secured for the arrest of Misty Chouinard .
10-30-16—Answered a call to Ga. Hwy. 15 in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-31-16—Answered a call to Ten Mile Road in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-28-16—Answered a call to Clyde Road in reference to Criminal Trespass. Complainant stated he found pry marks on his door where someone had entered his residence, but nothing appeared to be missing.
10-30-16—Answered a call to Cleland Lane in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-31-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report Financial Transaction Card Fraud. Complainant stated someone has been using his debit card without his permission. Complainant believes it may be a family member. Investigation continues.
10-31-16—Answered a call to Satilla Church Road in reference to a Stolen Vehicle. Complainant stated his 1993 Chevrolet was stolen from his yard. Investigation led to the arrest of Jerry Perry Arnett age 31 of Baxley. Arnett was charged with Theft by taking Motor Vehicle.

10-31-16—Answered a call to Jekyll Road in reference to a Theft. Complainant stated someone had taken her computer tablet from her kitchen table. Investigation continues.
11-01-16—Answered a call to Poor Robin Road in reference to an Assault. Complainant stated she and her boyfriend had an argument which escalated to an assault. Boyfriend had left the scene before officer arrived. No physical marks were noted on complainant at time of report.
11-01-16—A routine traffic stop on County Farm Road/Gail Street resulted in the arrest of Jonathan Lee Watson age 45 of Baxley. Watson was charged with Lamps or other Equipment required on Bicycle, Possession of Drug Related Items, VGCS/ Methamphetamine, Crossing Guard Lines with Drugs.
11-02-16—Answered a call to County Farm Road in reference to Entering Auto/Theft. Complainant stated someone went inside his vehicle and stole his Rugger 22 pistol and Marlin 30-30 with a pro staff Nikon scope. Missing guns were entered into GCIC. Investigation continues.
11-02-16—Answered a call to Sycamore Lane in reference to Entering Auto/Theft. Complainant stated someone entered her vehicle and took her pocketbook containing numerous id cards, credit cards, and $150.00 in US currency. Investigation continues.
11-03-16—Answered a call to Sellers Road in reference to Entering Auto/Theft. Complainant stated someone entered her vehicle and her husband’s vehicle that were parked under their carport. Taken were her pocketbook, a 380 Taurus gun, and an Apple IPhone and several other items were taken from the vehicle. Both vehicles were unlocked. Investigation continues.
11-03-16—Answered a call to Hatch Parkway North in reference to Entering Auto/Theft. Complainant stated someone entered his vehicle and stole his .380 Taurus pistol, and also a money clip with identification cards, debit card, and insurance card. Gun was entered into GCIC records as stolen. Investigation continues.

11-03-16—Answered a call to Collins Lane in reference to a Domestic. Complainant stated she and a family member had an argument which turned into an altercation. Family member left the residence before officer arrived.
11-03-16—A routine traffic stop on County Farm Road led to the arrest of Shelia Denise Goggins age 49 of Baxley. Goggins was charged with Failure to Maintain Lane, and VGCS/Marijuana.
