10-16-16—Answered a call to Ten Mile Road in reference to a Theft. Complainant stated missing from his residence was his Browning BPS shotgun. Investigation found the gun at a local pawn shop. Gun was returned to owner. Warrants were secured for the arrest of Anthony Shawn Slaughter.
10-20-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a Theft that occurred on Hwy. 144. Complainant stated she is missing a diamond cluster ring from her residence, after several people were in and out of her house from visiting. Investigation continues
10-20-16—Answered a call to Appling ER in reference to a Dog Bite Victim. Victim stated his Morkie dog bit him on the nose. Victim stated his dog was up to date on all his shots. Victim received several stiches to his nose.
10-20-16—Answered a call to Poor Robin Road in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-21-16—Answered a call to Ten Mile Road in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-21-16—Answered a call to Hatch Parkway North in reference to a Burglary. Complainant stated she is missing cedar cypress cabinets, boards from the living room beams from the kitchen and siding was also missing from the house. Complainant stated she had not been to the house since February 12, 2015. Investigation continues.
10-21-16—Answered a call to Hwy. 341 in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-22-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report Harassment. Complainant stated she had received several sexual text messages from an unknown subject.

10-22-16—Answered a call to Parker’s Convenience Store/Surrency which led to the arrest of Tremealia Sanders age 38 of Surrency and Terry Sanders age 41 of Surrency. Both were charged with Disorderly Conduct.
10-22-16—Answered a call to Phillipi Church Road in reference to a Fraud. Complainant stated someone has tried to open a credit card in her name.
10-23-16—Answered a call to Hatch Parkway North in reference to an altercation which resulted in the arrest of Tanyka Shante Teasley age 20 of Baxley. Teasley was charged with Simple Battery.
10-23-16—Answered a call to Ten Mile Highway in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.

10-24-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a theft of a utility trailer that occurred on South Main Street. Investigation led to the arrest of Clinton Carl Crapps age 42 of Baxley. Crapps was charged with Theft by Taking and Possession of Marijuana.
10-24-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report a Theft that occurred on Ten Mile Road/Surrency, Ga. Complainant stated taken from her residence was a Dewalt drill, Hitachi grinder, pressure washer, and a Dewalt impact driver. Stolen items were located at a local pawn shop. Warrants will be forth coming.
10-24-16—Answered a call to Buck Williams Road in reference to an Unruly Juvenile. Complainant stated female juvenile family member became irate and began to strike the complainant with her fist. Juvenile then left the residence.
10-24-16—Answered a call to Golden Isles West in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-24-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report Harassment. Complainant stated a female subject continues to text her making threats toward her.
10-24-16—Answered a call to Zoar Road in reference to an Assault. Complainant stated he was at a residence and he and another subject had an altercation. Complainant was transported to Appling ER for treatment. Alleged offender could not be located at time of incident.
10-25-16—Answered a call to Buckhead Road in reference to an Unruly Family Member. Complainant stated her son is out of control and the family is scared of him. Son left the residence before officers arrived. Also Division of Aging was notified due to elderly disabled subject in the home.
10-25-16—Answered a call to Joe Kimberly Road in reference to an Altercation. Complainant stated the altercation occurred on October 21, 2016. Complainant stated a male subject and two female subjects came inside the residence and demanded she leave the residence. Complainant was advised of legal options.
10-25-16—Answered a call to Edsel Smith Road in reference to an Assault. Complainant stated her estranged husband had choked her after having an argument over marital property. Complainant was transported to Appling ER for medical attention. Warrants were secured for the arrest of Mathew Taylor.
10-25-16—Complainant came to the Sheriff’s Office to report Cyber Bullying/Stalking. Complainant stated his ex-wife posted wanted posters with his ex-girlfriend and his information over social media.
10-25-16—Answered a call to Holmesville Road in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-26-16—Answered a call to Buck Williams Road in reference to a Dispute. Girlfriend and boyfriend had a verbal dispute. Officer ran boyfriend’s identification through GCIC records and Coffee County had an outstanding warrant. Tyler Keith Graham age 23 was placed under arrest for Coffee County.
10-26-16—A routine traffic stop on Hwy. 341 West resulted in the arrest of Juan M. Bennett age 31 of Hazlehurst. Bennett was charged with Possession of Marijuana.
10-27-16—Answered a call to Antioch Church Road in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
10-27-16—Answered a call to W B Cain Road in reference to Illegal Dumping.
Complainant advised someone dumped trash on private property. Officer found an envelope with name and address. Subject was advised of trash that was dumped. Subject went to the property and took care of the problem.
10-27-16—Answered a call to Phillipi Church Road in reference to a Theft. Complainant stated someone entered her vacant home and took approximately $3,000.00 worth of antique glassware. Investigation continues.
