On October 19 and 20, Plant Hatch hosted more than 100 students and teachers from Wheeler County Middle School. Employees gave the group a presentation on nuclear energy at the new Energy Education Center and a tour of the maintenance training lab to teach students about careers in these fields. They also took the group in the training simulator control room and gave them a driving tour of the site.
