On Monday, October 10th, a local citizen discovered an unknown person rummaging through the inside of his vehicle in a local business parking lot. The owner struggled with the suspect until the suspect pulled a knife on the owner. The suspect fled the location in a white Chevrolet Trailblazer. Minutes before this incident, officers discovered the suspect had attempted to break into another vehicle at another business in town: the suspect was captured on video tape. Through the assistance of the Glynn County Police Department, law enforcement has identified the suspect as Joshua Carlton Brock (28) formerly of Rome, GA, Warner Robbins, GA, Brantley County, GA, and Glynn County, GA.
The Alma Police Department is seeking Brock for ENTERING AUTO and AGGRAVATED ASSAULT. Brock is also wanted in Glynn County for BURGLARY and MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT, and has outstanding warrants in Rome, GA for several traffic citations.
Brock is a white male, 5’06” tall, and weighs 145 – 160 lbs. Brock should be considered armed and dangerous.
