The First Baptist Church is excited to announce Homecoming Services on October 23. The church has been a mainstay since its beginning in 1880. It is located on Main Street and is one of Baxley’s best-known structures.
Dr. Tommy Jordan, pastor of Central Baptist Church, Gray, Georgia, will be bringing the Homecoming message. He served for over nineteen years as Minister of Music at the church. Bro. Tommy still has many friends in the area and they are thrilled about his return.
The traditional “Dinner on the Grounds” will be held in the Social Hall following the morning message. Services will begin at 10:30 am. There will be no evening service on this date.
Everyone in the community is invited for a special time of fellowship as we remember God’s faithfulness for 136 years of ministry.
