The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Waycross Career Center will be closed tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 7, because of Hurricane Matthew, which is approaching southeast Georgia.

Additional career centers in the counties affected by Matthew that closed today are the Brunswick Career Center, Hinesville Career Center, Kings Bay Career Center, Savannah Career Center and Statesboro Career Center.

The career centers will reopen when weather conditions permit.

The public is urged to monitor dol.georgia.gov for continuing updates on closures and re-openings.
