In a press release earlier today, the SCMPD stated that a shooting on Skidaway Road seriously injured one man. The incident happened on September 26 at 4:00 am.

The victim, 37-year-old Dileep Madappallil, was taken to Memorial University Medical Center.

The suspect in the shooting is a black male who was weaing a black shirt and a purple mask over his face.
