In a recent press release, the SCMPD stated that a hit-and-run incident took a life on Ft. Argyle Road. The tragedy happened shortly before 2 am on Saturday, September 24. 33-year-old Frederick Crawford was the victim. He was walking alongside the road when a vehicle headed in the same direction crashed into him before fleeing the scene.

The vehicle that struck Crawford is believed to be a white pickup with a green and white logo on its doors.
