NASA did not just change your Zodiac sign
Last week, news spread that NASA had decided to update the astrological signs for the first time in 2,000 years, and people were freaking out that 86 percent of us now have a different star sign.
BUT as NASA spokesperson Dwayne Brown told Ria Misra at Gizmodo:
“We didn’t change any Zodiac signs, we just did the math. The Space Place article was about how astrology is not astronomy, how it was a relic of ancient history, and pointed out the science and math that did come from observations of the night sky.”

80-year-old Ted McDermott lands record deal
Ted McDermott, who was diagnosed with dementia in 2013, spent decades entertaining people. Decca Records signed him up after videos of his carpool karaoke were watched 40 million times on YouTube. His son Simon McDermott, 40, said it was “a dream come true”. His father has recorded “You Make Me Feel So Young”, with “Quando Quando Quando” on the B-side, and proceeds of its sale will go to the Alzheimer’s Society and the McDermott family. Fall Food
Caramel Apple Nachos
- two green granny smith apples, cored and sliced
- 5 oz. caramel
- 1 teaspoon water
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
- 2 Tablespoons mini chocolate chips
Unwrap caramels. Place in a saucepan with one teaspoon of water over medium low heat. Stir constantly until caramels are melted. Drizzle melted caramel over sliced apples. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and mini chocolate chips.
(Optional) You could also add melted peanut butter to the mix
