Vidalia Resident Will Face Murder Charge for Shooting Death of Wife

71-year-old Vidalia resident Jimmy Poole was arrested by Toombs County Deputies in connection with the shooting death of his wife, 67-year-old Berdie Ann Poole. Berdie called police at approximately 3:00 am on August 21, saying that she’d been shot. Jimmy Poole was denied bond at a hearing in the Toombs County Superior Court. He will face a charge of murder.
