Early this morning, a Glynn County resident apparently shot his wife and his six-year-old child before turning the gun on himself.

Only the child survived the ordeal. The child was able to reach a neighbor’s house and ask for help. He or she is now receiving medical care at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.

The suspect and the victims’ identities have not yet been released to the public.
