Vidalia attorney Wilson Smith was arrested by police for stealing from two people he represented. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including two counts of forgery and two counts of theft.

The charges stem from accusations that Smith settled cases without telling his clients, forged their names on checks and then kept the money for himself. Wilson has yet to receive sentencing.
