Naquan McFarlin was shot in his car shortly before 5:00 pm on August 5. Fortunately, he is expected to survive his injury. The shooting occurred in Largo Woods, on or near Williamsburg Road.

Two juvenile suspects were arrested in the aftermath of the shooting. A third suspect is still on the loose.
